The Philodendron Congo Rojo gets its name from it's new leaves, which unfurl in a deep red color. As the leaf grows, it darkens to a green color. 

A very low maintenance plant, they tolerate low light but will grow faster in medium to bright light. Water when the top 2-3" of soil feel dry.

Considered slightly toxic if eaten.
