Manfreda + Agave = Mangave. This cross between an Agave and a Manfreda captures the best of both plants. Mangave is shaped like an Agave, but the Manfreda side gives it faster growth and unique foliage. 

Agave are a type of succulent native to North America. This is a great plant to keep in a bright room in the winter and on a porch/patio during the summer. Avoid too much direct sun, as it may scorch their leaves. These dudes are drought tolerant - water when the soil is completely dry, and less in the winter.
