The Ponytail Palm is a great option for a room with south or west facing windows and lots of light. It is actually in the succulent family and not closely related to true palms. They prefer lots of bright light and can handle some full sun. Make sure to water well and then allow the soil to dry out completely in between waterings.

Our 6" Ponytail Palm is in a 6" pot and about 1 foot tall. 

 Our 10" Ponytail Palm is in a 10" pot and about 2.5 ft. tall.
