The Ric Rac Cactus (cryptocereus anthonyanus), or Fishbone Cactus, is native to the rainforests of Mexico and is a very easy care plant. In their natural environment, Ric Racs are epiphytes, growing off trees.

Because they are native to the rainforest, they can tolerate less light than desert cacti, but need more water. They will grow best in bright, indirect light. Give them a deep watering when the top 2-3" of soil feel dry. As they grow, they begin to vine down, making them a great hanging plant.
