Calatheas are a tropical plant that like high humidity and do best in medium to bright indirect light. Allow the top 2-3" of soil to dry in between waterings.

Calatheas can be extra sensitive to tap water with lots of chemicals, which can burn the leaves. We recommend using distilled, rain or filtered water, or allow your water to sit out overnight before watering.
